I see why you would be confused about the Moogfest and Mountain Oasis situation. What happened was the people who are putting on Mountain Oasis called AC entertainment were working with Moogfest up until this year. It was Moog’s decision to cut ties with AC entertainment and put on their own festival. AC entertainment is a huge company that handles festivals such as Bonnaroo and I believe that the direction AC wanted to go didn’t coincide with what Moog wants to do. Therefore, Moog gave the Halloween weekend slot to AC and so now we get two festivals each year! Although Moogfest isn’t happening until next year, but be ready for some craziness. Asheville police took Lantz into custody at about 3 a.m. According to a warrant, Lantz was “exposing the private parts of his body in a public place and in the presence of a person of the opposite sex, to wit: knocking on doors while nude yelling ‘I’m your daddy’ when they open the door.”
No word yet on suspect’s relationship to Walter Lantz.
